Engagement Pics

Yup, engagement photos are here! Cassie and I are very happy with them. It was a beautiful day and had a great time with our photographer, Eric Yerke.

Enjoy.

Photo Shoots, Part 3

This next installment is from roughly a month ago but medium to lighter-weight suits are shown.

Again, the photos are by Cassie the professional photographer.

First, my early 1950s plaid double breasted suit. From the Bold Look era, is has big everything: shoulders, lapels, etc. A good suit to wear downtown.

And lastly is my 1941-dated 3-piece. This suit would probably fall into the "drape" category of suit. The hat is a 1940s Royal De Luxe Stetson.

Excellent proportions.

The shoes are the Stacy Adams "Kingsman".

We'll hopefully have some more of these posts in the future.

Photo Shoots, Part 2

The next installment. Again, photos taken by professional photographer Cassie.

In this series of photos I'm wearing my 1941-dated heavy weight tweed 3-piece. Thankfully this day was rather cool and windy, otherwise the heavy tweed would have been unbearably hot.

Note in these photos how well the heavy material drapes, especially in the trousers.

The hat is a 1930s fuzzy Borsalino. Great color, a light pinkish-gray. The tie is a 1950s nubby and was made for this suit.

Photo Shoots, Part 1

I've been off taking photos in different suits and outfits with an awesome wedding/professional photographer, Cassie. Check out her website here.

Below are some of the photos we took.

First a 1940s leather jacket with a very itchy modern wool sweater.

Then a 1930s English Drape sport coat with 1930s wool tie and modern shirt and trousers.

Cassie:

More to come in a bit.
